About
Winsor Knot Productions was founded by Jenny Conlee as a creative home for original storytelling and a tribute to her late father, Jeff Winsor—her first writing partner, greatest encourager, and the inspiration behind the company’s name.Together, they began developing the original musical Fiona in the Middle, combining their shared love of story, character, and music. After Jeff’s passing, Jenny continued the work they started, carrying forward both the project and his creative legacy.Today, Winsor Knot Productions develops original musicals, plays, one-acts, television pilots, and music that center heart, story, and connection. The company also supports aspiring performers and writers through audition prep, script analysis, creative consultation, and coaching.At its core, Winsor Knot Productions believes in creating living, breathing theatre—work that is personal, powerful, and made to connect.

Fiona In the Middle
"Fiona in the Middle" is the flagship original musical of Winsor Knot Productions, unfolding across two connected worlds: the real-life relationship between playwright Jenny and her father, and the fictional journey of her main character, Fiona.As Jenny writes, she faces her father’s declining health and the urgency of creating something meaningful. Within the musical, Fiona navigates a life-changing diagnosis, shifting relationships, and the challenge of holding onto herself through uncertainty.Blurring the lines between creator and character, "Fiona in the Middle" is a story of resilience, family, grief, and love. First presented as a staged reading, the musical continues to grow as Winsor Knot Productions works to bring it fully from page to stage.
Bobo's Trailer Court
Bobo’s Trailer Court is an original musical dramedy about the messy, complicated, and unexpected dynamics of family. Set in a small trailer court full of larger-than-life personalities, it follows the people who call it home—their struggles, humor, heartbreak, and the connections that keep pulling them back together.With heart, humor, and unforgettable characters, the musical explores how the very things that drive people apart can also become the ties that bind them. Currently in pre-production, "Bobo’s Trailer Court" continues to grow as part of Winsor Knot Productions’ commitment to creating original stories that are deeply human and richly entertaining.
Ties That Bind
Inspired by Ecclesiastes 4:12 — “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” — Ties That Bind is an original one-act musical about three generations of women navigating life, love, and faith.As the youngest steps into adulthood, her mother faces the empty-nest transition, while Grandma enters a season of reflection and renewed purpose.With humor and heartfelt storytelling, the women confront personal challenges and discover strength in family, faith, and unity.Currently in production for an upcoming Women’s Ministry event.
